River, the historic building and grounds house Cape Town's premier golf
driving range and academy and a wide range of conference facilities. |
| The all weather floodlit golf driving
range complete with target greens and double decker tee, is considered
one of South Africa's finest.The Par 3 Golf Course known as The River Course,
has 18 tee’s and 9 greens and offers seasoned golfers an excellent opportunity
to practice their short game. With the longest hole measuring 115 meters
and the shortest 75 meters, beginners have an ideal facility to practice
in tranquil surroundings without the pressure of the longer par 4 and 5’s.
The course is open 7 days a week. |

green, bunker and chipping zone, the Pro shop, a restaurant and bar and
the conference and function centre.

The River Club Golf Academy is staffed
by qualified PGA golf professionals who offer a wide range of lessons and
clinics, the latest video teaching technology and a club fitment centre.
One of our Pros will video you and,
using computer graphics, show you the flaws in your swing. This highly
worthwhile assessment will dramatically improve your understanding of the
golf swing. |
| Custom fitting is an art which requires
the Pro to have an understanding of both the golf swing and the geometry
of the club. It is only when this data is brought together that it
becomes possible to correctly specify the right golf club to suit each
